Arbuckles Bagels; Basel West Library Book Sale

Remi Christen is the owner and managing director of Arbuckles Bagels. Arbuckles Bagels makes monthly specials to celebrate the seasons, with ingredients sourced from Basel markets and showcasing the best of fresh fruits and vegetables. You can find Arbuckles Bagels at various Basel markets, for example every 1st Thursday of the month from 5 - 9 pm at the evening market in the St. Johann on Hebelplatz, or weekly at the Breitemarkt and the Rütimeyermarkt.

You can also order bagels online and have them delivered – or why not get a subscription for a regularly scheduled delivery directly to your home? Nicole Scoles from Basel West Library joined us to talk about the English Book Sale coming up on Saturday, April 20th, from 10:00 - 17:00. There will be lots of pre-loved books, for adults and kids. Besides getting your hands on good reads, there will be a bake sale, a beer-tasting hosted by Hard Labor Brews, and music by The Welsh Kates. The funds from the sale go to the organisations that support this event: Centrepoint, Anglican Church of Basel, the American Women's Club of Basel and the Basel Irish Club.
