Peter and Brendan Mayer, Gadget Guru - Amazon Echo

Singer-songwriter and guitarist extraordinaire Peter Mayer came into the studio to tell us about his current activities. Peter is between tour dates with Jimmy Buffett - and right after The English Show he played at the Rockfact in Münchenstein, together with his son and guitarist Brendan Mayer, bassist Zeb Briskovich and drummer Roger Guth. He will be heading to Amsterdam later this week. We were thrilled that Peter and Brendan played the beautiful track "All The Tea in China" live in the studio. The English Show was out in force at the concert at Rockfact and can confirm that a fabulous time was had by all!

After a two year wait, Amazon releases its voice-controlled Echo device. With built-in speakers for your music, it can also operate your home automation devices. Now it's finally available on this side of the Atlantic. Ian the Gadget Guru gave us the low-down - listen to the segment again here.
