Our cinema expert Rob Stuart came into the studio to tell us about the newest film releases: The Peanuts Movie, an animated adventure comedy based on the characters created by Charles M. Schultz. Brooklyn, a drama romance set in Ireland and New York in the 1950s, directed by John Crowley starring Saoirse Ronan and Domnahl Gleeson. Joy, a comedy drama directed by David O. Russell starring Jennifer Lawrence (Silver Linings Playbook and American Hustle). Carol, a drama romance directed by Todd Haynes and based on the novel by Patricia Highsmith, starring Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara. Burnt, a comedy musical directed by John Wells and starring Bradley Cooper, Lily James, Jamie Dornan, Sienna Miller and Omar Sy. The Big Short, a drama directed by Adam MacKay starring Christian Bale, Steve Carrell, Ryan Gosling and Brad Pitt.
