Natashia Collier aka Aunite SAM was in the studios with us to tell us about the  upcoming Burlesque party event extravaganza CAN!CAN!  The party will be at the Grand Casino Basel this Saturday night starting at 8:30 and running into the wee hours...Come in fancy dress and be prepared to be dazzled. Some of Europe's most stunning burlesque models (including Switzerland's very own Zoe Scarlett) will be performing and mingling. DJ, VIP Seating, and free parking are available. Natashia is also involved with Dr. Sketchy art shows, who are hosting an event Wednesday 9 December.  And if you can't meet up with her there, look for her page in Tageswoche where she does a column for expats living in Basel.

Our cinema expert Rob Stuart was with us to talk about films showing over the festive season. Firstly, of course, there's Star Wars: The Force Awakens (Part VII) - not to be missed. Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks reunite for spy thriller Bridge of Spies. Michael Fassbender and Kate Winslet star in biopic Steve Jobs, while The Hunger Games - Mocking Jay, Part 2 ends the series. Arlo & Spot is for the whole family. For details on these films and more, check out Rob's cinema page.
