Basel Chamber Voices, Rob Stuart, Theatre Preview

Broadcast on:
6 January, 2015

Catherine Nisato of Basel Chamber Voices came into the studio this week to tell us about the choir's upcoming concerts on January 23rd and 31st. Basel Chamber Voices was born out of a project designed to share Welsh culture and music with the Swiss community and, indeed, also with the small group of singers involved.

Basel Chamber Voices are aiming for a chamber choir of sixteen (currently at thirteen) and are still looking for male voices to round out the sound for their next program with rehearsals starting in February. If you or anyone you know of might be interested, please contact them through their website, or better yet, come to one of their concerts at the end of January! Listen to the interview again here.

Our cinema expert Rob Stuart told us about the newest releases: among others, The Imitation Game with Benedict Cumberbatch, The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby, The Homesman with Tommy Lee Jones and A Most Wanted Man by Anton Corbjin. For more information, check out Rob's cinema preview here.
