Michael Bellgardt - Theatre Basel, Best Sights To See - Ferries

Michael Bellgardt of Theater Basel met with our intrepid Arts Correspondent Ellie Golder.  In addition to telling her about the upcoming fall program at the theater, he discussed programs of interest to the English-speaking community.  Specifically, the opera Contes d'Hoffmann (The Tales of Hoffman - The French Opera Fantastique by Jacques Offenbach), which just opened a very promising opera season. 

Also, we had our Basel tour guide Madeleine Wamister tell us about the Rhein Ferries (Fähri), how to find them and how you might rent them for a private party. They'll even help you host a fondue shindig if you desire!
