Glenn Wool, Summer Cinema

This week, our very own Ellie Golder interviewed stand-up comedian Glenn Wool. Glenn performed at the Kuppel as part of a world tour. He shared his comedy, his thoughts and his love of the road, as he contemplates settling down in Vancouver, BC.

We reviewed recently released movies now playing at a Basel Theater near you: X-Men: The Days of Future Past, A Million Ways to Die in the West, Godzilla, Grace of Monaco...among others.  

Our Music Theme this week was "Champions" as we played a veritable smorgasbord of musical styles of songs and bands with the word in the title or name: Clement Marfo and Frontline ("Champion"), Sheila She Loves You ("Dolphin Champion"), Mohawks ("The Champ"), Lightspeed Champion ("Galaxy of the Lost"), Champion ("No Heaven") and Queen ("We are the Champions").

Swissgerman Words of the Week

Swissgerman of the week was saying Goodbye...as in..."Uff Wiederluege", "Tschüss", and "Bis spöter".
