Willard Wigan is an artist from Birmingham whose sculptures are so small that you can only see them under a microscope. His sculptures are usually placed inside the eye of a needle or on the head of a pin.

Bryan Haab of the Soul Works Foundation is organising an exhibition from May 17-26th in the Münster Cathedral, so you’ll have a chance to see Wigan’s astonishing microscopic sculptures right here in Basel. You can find more information on the exhibit in our Cultural Events Calendar.
