Switzerland mudslide crashes through village

A massive mudslide has crashed down a mountain and into a village in the Swiss municipality of Chamoson, damaging cars and properties in its path.

It was triggered after a storm caused a riverbed to swell and burst its banks.

People in the area quickly moved off the road to make room for the landslide that went through a track and down onto a street.

Swiss TV says no one was hurt during the landslide but some structures were destroyed.
