SVP wants Marginalized out of SBB
The situation in front of Basel SBB has deteriorated significantly, according to the SVP. A spokesperson for the party noted that there have been regular clashes between the marginalized during the day as well as the evenings. It was also stated that the SBB is a hotspot for travelers and should be a tourist Bijou. Instead visitors to the city are already getting a negative first impression of Basel thanks to the poor conditions. The SVP is asking the canton and SBB to take immediate emergency measures to rectify the problem, one which includes finding a more suitable place for those less fortunate.
