Vaccine Initiative For Americans Abroad - Andrew Kohlrieser - April 2021

Would you be surprised to learn that Indian, Chinese and Israeli citizens who live abroad are able to get Coronavirus vaccinations at their nations' embassies in their host countries? Surprisingly, despite America's successes at home, its citizens in Switzerland are experiencing delays in vaccine access, preventing their travel home in many cases.

Andrew Kohlrieser, Deputy Chairman of the Republicans Overseas Switzerland (ROS), came in to talk about their latest non-partisan initiative of urging US embassies to provide US citizens living abroad access to COVID-19 vaccines. You can learn more on ROS's website or email them directly at ROSwitzerlandGOP@gmail.com. ROS have reached out to most Swiss-American organizations (like Democrats Abroad, American Women's Club, and Action Together Zürich) to organize their members to similarly amplify their voices for this cause.
