Mizmorim Kammermusik Festival - Michal Lewkowicz - November 2022

Mizmorim Kammermusik Festival returns to Basel for its January 2023 season with "Projekt Blau-Weiss". Michal Lewkowicz, artistic director of the festival which runs from the 18th to the 22nd of January 2023, was in the studio with us to tell us about the festival, its theme for 2023, and what's on offer.

For those unfamiliar with Mizmorim, the name means "psalms", a reference to the earliest known biblical instrumental music accompanied by lyrics. This year's festival is based on the theme "Blue and White", a reference to Zionism and its roots in Basel.

During the festival, there will be performances throughout the city and there are programmes for children and adults spanning classical and contemporary musical genres. This year's programme promises to be another sellout, so if you're interested, make sure to grab your tickets now!
