Basel band Gentle Beast - May 2023

Basel stoner rock band Gentle Beast released a self-titled album in March 2023, chock-a-block with heavy fuzz riffs and psychedelic stoner tunes. Gentle Beast formed in 2017, released their first record as a 7-inch called "Hit the Spliff" in 2019, and have toured extensively. 

They had their album release party together with Rich Kid Blue (listen to Rich Kid Blue's interview here) at the Sommercasino at the end of April 2023.

The album "Gentle Beast" is available through Sixteentimes Music, Bandcamp, and all the usual music platforms. Guitarist Janek Huschke told us about the band's influences, the songwriting process, and how to choose opening tracks for albums.
