Sports fans, get ready for some exciting football, american style! The Basel Gladiators have made the postseason and will face the undefeated Calanda Broncos in the semi final matchup on July 11^th at the St. Jakob sportplatz. The Gladiators, led by coaches Dwain Wood and Graeme Blundell, finished their regular season in 3^rd place and the team is looking to bring home another championship to Basel. The match begins at 2pm and you can get to the St Jakob sportsplatz by taking the 14 tram to the St. Jakob stop.

Basebal fans, don't miss your chance to watch the Therwil Flyers play the Zurich Barracudas in a doubleheader on June 27^th. The premier baseball team in the Basel region is currently undefeated in the season, with 12 wins and zero losses. The Flyers had captured the Swiss championship last season and the team is looking for a repeat performance this year. Go and support Daniel Eichenberger, Adrian Kaufmann, Chris Blackbee and the rest of the Flyers on the 27^th. The first game begins at 11am. Want to have some fun, play small sided matches or penatly shoot out competitions?  InterSoccer will stage a World Cup Soccer Tournament on Sunday, June 20th. Boys and girls of all abilities are welcome for this fantastic day.  The Tournament will be open to participants from 5-13 year olds from 10am to 3pm.
