Andy Habermacher, TES monthly contributor, gives us the first installment of a series of interviews on neuroscience, personal change and transformation. Cara Rynerson spoke with Ciarán about the upcoming  American Women’s Club of Basel’s Charity Auction will benefit the Tageszentrum Dorneck.

The Tageszentrum provides day care for Alzheimer patients and respite for the family members who care for them.  This daycare centre balances a familiar atmosphere with proactive social interaction - important to help delay the transition of Alzheimer patients to a permanent nursing home.

Tom Landa spoke by telephone from the Ferry terminal at Tawassan, British Columbia, with Maria. He's bringing his band Los Paperboys to Basel on April 27th, as part of the promotional tour of their latest ablum, Calithump, which artfully combines roots musical influences from the world over.
