2010.07.16 July 16th- Avishai Cohen: Aurora ignites Wenkenpark with Jazz/Rock for Stimmen

Known as a first-rate jazz bassist and composer,  Israeli musician Avashai Cohen delivered a rousing and inventive set of jazz and rock, joined by a highly talented group  of instrumentalists and singers including an electric oud player, keyboardist, and  dual percussionists Friday night, July 16 in Wenkenpark-Riehen.  True to "Stimmen",  Cohen and his co-vocalist used their voices to great effect, at times as instruments, and also to sing leads in several original pop numbers.  The crowd thoroughly enjoyed the  evening's upbeat entertainment.
