May 20--Ilya Gringholts with Basel Symphony Provides Captivating Evening With Works By Felix Mendelsson Bartholdy, Sibelies and Gustav Holst

Ilya Gringolts with the Basel Symphony Orchestra,  Dennis Russell Davies conducting, delievered an impressive performance of works by Mendelsson, Sibelius and Holst in  May 19 and 20th  at the StadtCasino. The relatively young  Ukranian violin virtuoso, Gringolts demonstrated  a firm grasp of the challenging compositions for a very appreciative audience.
