I have been a part of the English Show since March 2005. I love cooking during my spare time, as well as taking leisurely strolls through Basel. I am also a ring announcer for SCW, Swiss Championship Wrestling, I have performed in five Semi-Circle plays and have starred in an independent film named, "Digital Evidence". I have also performed a few open mic nights for Guy Stevens' "Funny Laundry" comedy shows in Basel and Zurich.
Where were you born, and where have you lived so far?
I was born in New Jersey and i have lived in New York, Pennsylvania, Birsfelden and Ettingen.
How long have you been living in the region?
I have been living in Baselland for six years.
Why Basel?
Basel has a great mixture of different cultures from many parts of the world and I find that the people are very friendly here. Plus, my ex wife is from Basel.
What's your favourite place for a coffee or drink with friends in this region?
I love going to the Unternehmen Mitte. The coffee is to die for and they have free wi-fi.
Favourite bands or singers?
My favorite bands are Primus, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Metallica, Megadeth, Public Enemy, Melt Banana and numerous others designed to give you headaches and nightmares.
Where's your favourite place in Switzerland?
Basel. Luzern is a very close second.
What is the most important advice you would give to someone new to Basel or Switzerland?
Don't let the language frustrate you, it will come naturally over time.
What languages do you speak?
English, High German, very little Swiss German, a dash of French, a splash of Spanish and a dash of Greek. I'm also learning ASL (American Sign Language)

Why did you join The English Show team?
I had been doing radio in New York prior to arriving in Switzerland and I wanted to continue. I had typed in the words "English Radio and Switzerland" in the google search engine and The English Show appeared!
What's your day job?
I work as an assistant teacher and aftercare supervisor at Swiss International School Basel.
Why do you think The English Show is good for Basel, France and Germany?
There are huge English-speaking communities in those areas and the English Show is the perfect place to find out about fun events that would interest them and get them integrated.
