They were eventually  suppressed by the Roman model in the 1200s, though Christianity today  would be a lot different if the Celtic and not the Roman model has  survived. Classical and modern literature, philosophy, and political  theory became the raw materials for Rollins and his team. <a href="http://www.kunstmuseumbasel.ch/en/exhibitions/preview/karlheinz-weinberger/" target="_blank">Karlheinz Weinberger </a>was a photographer who documented a bygone youth culture in Zurich after the Second World War.</p>

Admittedly, you'll get more out of the shows if you understand Swissgerman - Schnitzelb&auml;ngg (singing verses in Swissgerman) and short skits populate the shows - but there's also lots of drumming and fifing and singing to get you in the Fasnacht mood.
