Polyfon Festival at Kaserne Basel
Basel's Polyfon Festival is a place to discover new and surprising music from Switzerland and around the world. The musical spectrum is broad: for example, you will be able to listen to polyphonic project Transmitting Voices, in which Algerian and Swiss musicians create a new joint listening experience from their individual perspectives. You'll also get metal band Zeal & Ardor and garage band Psycho Daisies, both from Basel.
Other musicians playing include Alyona Alyona, Sirens of Lesbos, Malummi, Lila Martini, Sophie Hunger and more. The full programme is here.
There will also be a market in the middle of Kasernenplatz, with local businesses stalls, workshops and initiatives.
This year, the Covid certificate is a prerequisite for admission to the Polyfon Festival Basel. The Covid certificate documents a Covid-19 vaccination, a previous illness or a negative test result.
