Basel better cafes.........

The cafe culture in Basel is big business and a large part of the social scene of the town and its outskirts......but where to get the very best coffee to boost your system, contemplate with a good book or gossip over with friends.

1)  The cafe between platform 6/7 at the Bahnhof SBB for the coffee but not for the smoke :-(

2) Nasobe in gundeli.....a great place to read away the hours

3)  Il cafe for great coffee and wonderful toasted pannini

Three of the worst cafes

1)  Fumare non Fumare...just bad coffee but free internet access

2)  Mercedes cafe....good coffee but really bad attitude of the waiting staff

3)  My work coffee machine...just the pits.....
