Opened in October of 2009, the Schlossli restaurant offers something new to Aesch.

Described by the owner and head chef, Salvatore Carnelos, (previously at Baltazar and the Beyler foundation restaurant), as:

Schlossli is a restaurant that offers local, seasonal food with an italian influence but certainly not fusion food. 

The restaurant offers a good mix of dishes, at both lunchtime and in the evening, along with a Saturday brunch menu (10am to 3 pm) - the menus change regualrly and are available at the resturants website Schlossli

Schlossli, especially caters for famillies with small children, as they have a stock of high chairs, superb changing facilities and lots of space between tables for prams.

 The view from the restaurant window across the valley is priceless.   Schlossli offers really good quality food at a reasonable price, well worth the 20 minute tram ride out of Basel town centre - go check it out!!!
